Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe (EGH) launched the Plug Mtaani Vijana 2Invest initiative – a business idea competition designed to nurture young entrepreneurs by providing them with soft skills and business plan development training in the country.

In his speech, the Governor termed the competition a *”powerful testament to the collective commitment of the County Government of Kitui and the National Government towards empowering the youth and advancing the society”.*

The Governor said the plan is also a reflection of *Kitui’s dedication to the 16 point development agenda which lays strong emphasis on supporting Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises to identify and nurture local talents across various sectors.*
