Kitui County, 6th October 2023- In a significant effort to ensure the health and well-being of its youngest residents, Kitui County has kicked off a five-day Polio immunization drive targeting children under 5 years of age. The ambitious campaign, which will span the entire Kitui County, will involve door-to-door outreach to reach every eligible child.
The event’s launch was marked by the presence of esteemed representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and Kitui County’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Benson Musyoka.
