In a proactive move to address longstanding concerns, Honorable Mark Kitute Ndingo, the dedicated MCA for the Kwa Vonza area, has taken decisive action.
The MCA today officiated sites handover for the construction of two essential drifts at Kwa Nyunyi and Kwa Martha Mutiso streams.
These critical infrastructure projects come as a relief to motorists, especially during the rainy season when navigating these areas becomes treacherous.
Upon completion, these drifts will significantly improve connectivity, benefiting not only Makusya village but also four other surrounding villages within the Yatta Kwa Vonza ward.
It’s worth noting that this vital initiative is generously funded by the County Government of Kitui, demonstrating their commitment to enhancing the welfare and infrastructure of the region.”
