former Kitui County Governor, Charity Ngilu on Saturday delivered a heartfelt call for unity and cooperation among county leaders during the public appearance.

Addressing an audience that included members of her Narc party, Ngilu specifically singled out the importance of supporting her successor, Governor Julius Malombe, in his developmental endeavors.

The former County boss said, any sitting Governor deserves full support. Ngilu emphasized the need for harmony within the county leadership and urged her party’s Members of County Assembly (MCAs) to fully support Dr. Malombe’s development agenda without engaging in acts of sabotage or causing any undue derailment.

This plea for unity underscores Ngilu’s commitment to a smooth transition of power and a collective effort towards the betterment of Kitui County.”Please respect the sitting governor and his leadership,” Ngilu asserted, “but do not fail to oversee him when he goes wrong in his mandate and duty.”

The rainbow lady asked Senator Enock Wambua to sing Kalonzo Musyoka outside Ukambani Counties if he is real supporting Kalonzo Musyoka the Sixth, the same as Dr Irene Kasalu.

This balanced approach to governance suggests Ngilu’s belief in accountability and transparency, even as she advocates for unwavering support for the current administration, Ngilu said she will lead the Kalonzo Musyoka Presidential Campaigns in Ukambani and outside Ukambani.

However, the surprising turn of events did not end there. Ngilu also took the opportunity to voice her concerns about the national leadership, accusing President William Ruto of what she described as “unfavorable and unbearable leadership” that has allegedly caused suffering among Kenyans.

In an additional directive, Ngilu issued a clear order to the Kitui MCAs, instructing them to back Governor Malombe’s development agenda without any act of sabotage.
This directive serves as a call to action for the local representatives to prioritize the welfare of the county and its residents over political differences.

As the political landscape in Kitui County experiences this unexpected shift, the coming days will reveal the extent to which Ngilu’s call for unity resonates with the county leaders and the citizens alike.

The delicate balance between supporting the current leadership and holding it accountable will undoubtedly shape the future trajectory of Kitui’s development under Governor Malombe.
