*The initiative which is aimed at improving Agricultural productivity and profitability to rural communities*, is among many other milestones by Dr.Julius Malombe’s administration, aimed at increasing Agricultural productivity and enhancing food security.
He highlighted the need for farmers to form cooperatives saying it’s the only way they will benefit more and boost their incomes.
The CECM further emphasized the need for capacity building of farmer groups noting its crucial as it equips farmers with knowledge and skills leading to improved food security, diversified incomes, community development, resilience to climate change and better market access.
The Sh.3.2M grants will help to bolster different value chains across the county.
